This video editing course about DaVinci Resolve is composed of 6 different modules. Irfan explains each module in detail so that you get the basics of the software for your next project in DaVinci Resolve. Find the details for each module below:

Chapter #1: Introduction to DaVinci Resolve

Your course will commence with Irfan Junejo sharing his personal experience of video editing and how he ended up using DaVinci Resolve. With a brief introduction of the software and its advantages over other video editing software, this module will end.

Chapter #2: Understanding the DaVinci Resolve Interface

As the name suggests, this module will focus on the introductory lectures relating to the software. Irfan Junejo will teach you how one can import clips and set up his or her timeline in DaVinci Resolve. You’ll learn some of the important settings you'll need to go through before importing clips or starting your projects. This module will include instructions for both Windows and Mac users. The most important subject of this module will be the Edit tab of DaVinci Resolve.

Chapter #3: Getting Started with Video Editing in DaVinci Resolve

In this module, you’ll learn basic editing in DaVinci Resolve. This module will include all of the basic tips and tricks for setting up your timeline for the project. Applying cuts and clipping off the useful parts of your source videos and composing them in your project will be the key takeaways of this module. Speed ramping in DaVinci Resolve will also be addressed in this chapter. In addition, several shortcuts will be shared with you to further quicken your pace of work.

Chapter #4: Basic Audio Editing & Effects

Once you’re done with your timeline setting, you’ll progress to editing the audio settings of your clips. It will include some professional techniques that will help you increase and decrease the audio in such a way that it doesn’t sound amateurish or unprofessional. Furthermore, a brief introduction of a few basic transitions will be shared by Irfan to help you infuse better storytelling into your videos.

Chapter #5: Basic Color Grading in DaVinci Resolve

DaVinci Resolve is exceptionally popular owing to its wonderful ability to tweak colors in a video clip. In this module, Irfan Junejo will share with you a basic guideline that is necessary for a beginner video editor to edit a YouTube vlog. This lecture will purely address the color tab of DaVinci Resolve. Tools like the color wheel, curves, and node structure will be the primary features of this module.

Chapter #5: Rendering & Exporting Your Project

You’ll learn to save and export your project using the best settings for YouTube upload. Irfan Junejo will tell you the settings he uses for his vlogs for the purpose of being uploaded on YouTube. At the end of his online course, Irfan will brief you on his experience with video editing software like Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro in comparison with DaVinci Resolve.
